Responsive. Accurate. Trustworthy. Practical. Efficient.
These words should describe your chosen legal counsel every time. They also describe my approach to the legal profession.
I pledge to each of my clients that:
- You can reach me. If you call me or send me an email, I’ll respond – quickly. Does your lawyer work for himself, or for you? This is a service business. I work for you, the client.
- I don’t overreach. If I’m not comfortable with an answer or a conclusion, you’ll know it. If a question or task is outside of my expertise, I will tell you. I don’t pretend to be what I’m not.
- Your confidential information is safe. Lawyers have extensive ethical obligations. I take them with the utmost seriousness.
- I will do what I say. You’ll know that I’m attending to your matter and when you can expect to hear back from me.
- I don’t live in an ivory tower. It’s one thing to say that “the law is X.” It’s quite another to discuss the legal background and the associated risks and to come up with a business solution. It’s my job to try to accomplish your business goal within legal boundaries – I’m not the “Department of No.” I’m in the business of providing solutions. I will understand your business and operate accordingly.
- I treat your matters like they are my own. Not every matter requires a “full frontal assault” on research and writing. I will understand your goals and your risk tolerances, and we will develop estimates, budgets, and an understanding of what needs to be done. You should never find an unwelcome surprise on your legal bill.
If you or your business have a legal need, let's discuss how I can assist you.
